My Story — When My Auditions Went Silent

A few years ago during pilot season in LA, I sent out nine self-tapes.

And then…

Nothing.

No feedback.

It felt like my work and my life had disappeared into a black hole.

I’d done everything actors are told to do — trained hard, rehearsed every line, polished every beat, endless takes

And somewhere along the way… neither did I.

Then I realised something important.

It was the way I was approaching the audition.
